As shared with the community on Friday, September 19, 2025, the weekly water sample submitted to Alberta Health Services (AHS) that week detected a low-level presence of bacteria, causing the hot tub to be temporarily closed while we completed all required disinfection procedures. Warm water naturally creates an ideal environment for bacteria, which is often introduced externally and is unrelated to maintenance. This is why weekly testing is conducted—to catch any concerns early and act quickly to protect the health of all users.
✅ We’re happy to report that the most recent water test came back clear, and the hot tub is now safe to reopen!
To help keep the hot tub safe and enjoyable for everyone, please:
✔️ Shower thoroughly with soap and water before entering
✔️ Avoid using the hot tub if you are feeling unwell
