With an unwavering dedication to community engagement, customer experience, and strategic vision, Carla Nikli is excited to bring her passion to the role of General Manager at the Rockland Park Homeowners Association. Over the past decade, Carla has demonstrated her leadership as the General Manager of the Brookfield-established Residents Association in the community of New Brighton.
Carla’s extensive experience spans various leadership positions, including roles with esteemed organizations such as Disney Cruise Lines, the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis, the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, the Lake Louise Recreation Society, the Cranston Residents Association and most recently the New Brighton Residents Association. With more than 20 years of expertise in recreation management, Carla’s leadership style, innovative thinking, and proactive approach promises to set the stage for the Rockland Park Team’s success.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Carla enjoys a range of recreational activities. Whether kayaking, traveling, camping, diving into a good book, building with Lego, or casting a fishing line alongside her husband Peter, son Carter, and beloved fur-friend Daisy, Carla embraces life with enthusiasm and zest! She also confesses to the guilty pleasures of avidly following reality TV shows and eagerly attending Calgary’s Comic Convention each year!
As the Lodge prepares to open its doors in the months that follow, Carla extends a warm invitation to all to stop by and say hello. Her genuine warmth, coupled with her commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community, makes her an invaluable asset to the Rockland Park family.
With a strong commitment to community development and a passion for creating inclusive and engaging environments, Sarah Armstrong is excited to join the Rockland Park Homeowners Association as the new Lifestyle Coordinator.
Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and is a registered social worker with over six years of experience in various areas of the field. Her roles have spanned from community organizations to post-secondary institutions, including positions at Developmental Disabilities Resource Centre of Calgary, Precious Cargo Community Support Services, and the Students Association of Mount Royal University. At the Students Association of Mount Royal University, she managed the Pride Centre, and organized numerous, university wide, large-scale events, programs, and workshops. It is here that she discovered her love of community engagement and event management. She has also volunteered at a variety of different community organizations over the years, including Drumheller Family Literacy, Golden Prairie Parent Link, Sagesse, and more recently, The BeYOUtiful Foundation.
Sarah’s approach is centered on understanding the community’s needs and leveraging its strengths. She stands for creating diverse and high-quality programming, maintaining open and effective communication, and fostering an inclusive environment where every resident feels valued.
Outside of her professional life, Sarah enjoys yoga, painting, and spending time in nature, particularly in her vegetable garden. Hailing from Drumheller, Alberta, Sarah moved to Calgary for her education, and stayed for the breathtaking Rocky Mountain views.
Sarah Armstrong’s dedication to community engagement and innovative thinking makes her a positive addition to the Rockland Park team. She looks forward to meeting residents and creating memorable experiences for everyone.
Andrew Brown is our Facilities and Amenities Manager, building on his extensive experience in facility management and operations. Andrew comes to us from another development, having served as the Facilities and Amenities Leader for four years where he honed his expertise in maintaining high-quality community spaces, ensuring top-tier outdoor experiences.
With a strong background in landscaping and construction, Andrew holds a certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of New Brunswick, along with numerous professional accreditations, including incident command system training and workplace training and assessment.
Born in the East, Andrew has spent most of his life in Calgary, aside from a seven-year adventure in the Middle East, where he and his family lived and worked in Doha, Qatar. While overseas, he transitioned into education as a college trades instructor, teaching health and safety, workplace communications, and industrial trades skills. This experience ignited his passion for teaching and mentorship, which continues to influence his leadership style.
A true explorer at heart, Andrew thrives on discovering new and off-the-beaten-path destinations. His love for adventure extends beyond travel—he is an avid adventure motorcyclist, always seeking the thrill of the open road and the challenge of rugged terrain. When not riding, he enjoys camping with his family in Alberta’s stunning parks and recreation areas, often accompanied by their beloved dog, Maddie.



Taylor Bissonnette
Lead Ambassador
Taylor Bissonnette is an accomplished and dedicated Lead Ambassador at Rockland Park HOA, where she plays a vital role in fostering positive relationships with residents, coordinating facility rentals, and overseeing the daily operations of the community. In her position, she ensures that residents have a seamless and enjoyable experience, working tirelessly to maintain the high standards and sense of belonging within the neighborhood. With a background that spans customer service, tourism, and administrative roles, Taylor excels in high-energy, fast-paced environments that demand effective leadership, quick thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Her diverse career path has enabled her to develop a versatile skill set, allowing her to navigate complex situations with ease. Before joining the HOA team, Taylor gained valuable experience in customer-facing roles, where she honed her problem-solving abilities and developed a strong sense of empathy for others. She thrives on making meaningful connections and consistently strives to improve the overall experience for both residents and clients.
Outside of her professional role, Taylor has a passion for adventure and exploration. She has worked in high-adrenaline environments as an indoor skydiving instructor, zipline guide, and axe-throwing coach, where she led, entertained, and motivated groups of individuals to step outside their comfort zones. These experiences have not only enhanced her ability to lead in dynamic settings but also sharpened her communication and interpersonal skills, as she guided participants through thrilling activities while maintaining safety and excitement.
Despite her exciting adventures, Taylor’s heart always brings her back to the HOA, where she continues to combine her passion for adventure with her deep-rooted commitment to exceptional customer service. Her role allows her to blend her love for dynamic, people-focused experiences with her dedication to creating a welcoming, efficient, and organized community environment. Whether she’s managing operations, coordinating resident events, or troubleshooting challenges, Taylor remains steadfast in her mission to provide a seamless, engaging, and enjoyable experience for everyone she works with.
Dimi Yordanov
Ambassador
Hi, I’m Dimi, and I’m excited to be part of the Rockland Park Homeowners Association as a Brand Ambassador. As a member of the Rockland Park community, I take great pride in contributing to its growth and success. My extensive experience in customer service, including my time at Sobeys, has strengthened my communication skills and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I’ve also developed strong organizational skills through my background in sports, allowing me to balance working independently and effectively in a team environment.
Creativity, learning, and adaptability are passions of mine, and I believe these qualities will be a great asset to the RPHOA. Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in business at the University of Calgary, and I look forward to incorporating my studies into my work by helping to create great customer experiences for our residents. I am eager to engage with the community, support meaningful initiatives, and serve as an ambassador for our growing neighbourhood. I look forward to meeting and working with you all to ensure Rockland Park continues to be a welcoming and thriving community!
Ishika Patel

As a University of Calgary student pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences and a strong determination
to support her community, Ishika Patel is thrilled to join the Rockland Park Homeowner’s Association.
From a young age, Ishika has been passionate about fostering an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming
community. With a background in a plethora of volunteering and leadership positions, Ishika strives to
unconditionally make a positive impact in the lives of others around her. Ishika believes in the importance of respect, kindness, and inclusivity above all else! Passionate about giving back to the community, Ishika actively volunteers at the Alberta Children’s Hospital where she cares for patients weekly alongside their healthcare team. She has also dedicated her time in middle school and high school to helping children of her community learn the joys of reading, writing, and general
literacy comprehension!
Ishika is Vice President of the Women’s Mental Health Association of the University of Calgary, where she actively devotes her time to destigmatizing Women’s Mental Health.
With more than 5 years of customer service experience, Ishika aims to continue to provide excellent service to her community at the Rockland Park Homeowner’s Association.
When she is not working or volunteering, Ishika enjoys to read, write or journal, play video games with friends, play her guitar, and spending time with friends. Ishika has a love for music, and her favourite genre is R&B, with her favourite artist being Kehlani. As an early-life immigrant, she has grown up in Calgary and knows no other place as home.

environment for everyone when The Lodge opens!

Hi! My name is Katlyn and I am an Ambassador here at Rockland Park. I have worked several different customer service jobs that have taught me the importance of knowing what we have available for our residents. I also worked for a cleaning agency that taught me the importance of respecting others property and privacy.

Reiden Norum is an ambassador at the Rockland Park Homeowners Association. With extensive experience in community engagement, Reiden has previously worked at the Crestmont and Rocky Ridge homeowners associations. Her background includes event setup and takedown, facility maintenance, landscaping, and bartending—skills that make her a valuable asset in creating a welcoming and well-maintained community environment. She is eager to apply her expertise to ensure Rockland Park residents receive the best possible support and care.
From an early introduction to sports, Reiden developed a strong appreciation for teamwork and connection, shaping her core values of kindness, empathy, gratitude, and family. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through exercise, cooking, watching horror movies and sports, exploring new places with friends, reading, drawing, and playing video games. She also cherishes time spent with her family and dogs.
